Ghanaian singer and producer, Daniel Owusu Agyapong, widely known as Danny Beatz has come out with a piece of advice for Ghanaian artistes to respect and treat producers equally. He has made this observation for a while and it is a disgusting feeling to be a aware of this situation.
Danny Beatz was on JKD’s X-Zone on TV XYZ, when he made such a statement. The music producer was unable to mention names of artistes with such attributes due to the reputation of the brands involved and the business relationship between himself and the artistes.
The Kpanlogo Dance hit maker was on the TV show to promote his new song, African Choo, which he tagged ‘the comeback of Danny Beatz’.
The multitalented artiste wants to exhibit more of his singing bit, which was his primary talent has the intention of employing the services of his fellow music producers for his music projects. His latest song was produced by his colleagues producer, Tom Beat.
‘So many artistes have proven to be difficult to work with, especially the popular ones. We, the music producers are the hit makers. Mostly, producers are passionate about their works which makes them put in their all. The music business is a collective efforts.’ the renowned producer revealed.
Danny Beatz also revealed that some artistes don’t add names of the producers of their music to the publishing right owners due to the lack of knowledge of these information by most of producers.
To help the music industry in his own small way, Danny Beatz has decided to give upcoming artistes a moderate rate for music production. For as high as 1,000 Cedis, upcoming artistes will get a fully produced song, which includes recording, mixing and mastering.
